This applet demonstrates the basic geometric construction of a trapezoid. Using GeoGebra's line, orthogonal line, point, and polygon tools, a trapezoid is constructed to explore its related geometric properties. It is suitable for teaching and dynamically demonstrating concepts of quadrilaterals and trapezoids in middle and high school geometry courses.
