This applet demonstrates the geometric construction and dynamic locus of the ellipse parametric equations x=a*cos(θ) and y=b*sin(θ). By controlling θ, it shows how point coordinates are determined by semi-axes a, b and the eccentric angle. Using vectors and locus commands, it explores trigonometric functions in coordinate geometry, ideal for teaching conic sections.
